Cocktail Meatballs in Red Wine Sauce

1/2 cup red wine such as Cabernet Sauvignon

1 cup cold water

1 pkg Knorr Demi-Glace Classic Sauce Mix

1 tbsp brandy

1 tbsp table cream

1 lb prepared cooked frozen meatballs

In a small saucepan set over medium-high heat, bring the wine to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until reduced by half. This should take about 5 minutes. While the wine is reducing, place the cold water in a small bowl. Whisk in the Knorr Demi-Glace Classic Sauce Mix. Pour the sauce mixture into the wine reduction, increase the heat to high and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat and whisk in the brandy and cream. Meanwhile, prepare the meatballs according to the package directions. To serve, add the cooked meatballs to the sauce, toss to coat and serve with toothpicks on the side.
