
Bay Cafe opens in Birch Bay
serving the morning and lunch crowd
Bay Cafe a new deli opened this month in Birch Bay in the former Birch Bay Coffeehouse. Located at the corners of Birch Bay Drive and Alderson Road, this deli/cafe serves up a fare of generous portions and that warm greeting from owners Tammy Pearce and Dave Bucknell along with their friendly wait staff.
When entering the cafe you are greeted with a bright open floor plan that allow patrons to move around easily without interfering with seated diners. Bay Cafe's menu consists of deli sandwiches, certified Angus burgers, wraps, Ivar's Clam Chowder soup, Hebrew National Hot Dogs and Dryers hard packed ice cream cones, sundaes and splits. This foodie eyed a delicious serving of Ivar's Creamy Clam Chowder served in a bread bowl. Bay Cafe wants the feeling of their cafe/deli to have that warm, friendly feeling like going to grandma's and strives for value with generous portions. Bring along your laptop and stay connected, Bay Cafe has WiFi!
Diners can dine inside at a table or if you prefer, sit outside at a table with views of Birch Bay. If you want, call ahead and have your order waiting. Bay Cafe is also a great place to start your morning off with a Seattle's Best espresso or coffee. Order a muffin or danish with your coffee or take it with you.
Bay Cafe is open 7 days a week starting at 8:30 am and can be reached by calling (360) 371-5409. This is a great new eatery to add to the Birch Bay eating venues and a must try.
