Nooksack River Casino to
Host Chili Cook-off on October 7th

The Nooksack River Casino is hosting the Best of the Pacific Northwest Chili Cook-off. There will be great food, a beer garden, live music, cooking demonstrations, craft vendors, a $50,000 promotion, children’s activities and more.

There will be up to 15 food and craft vendors at the competition along with three live bands throughout the day, a beer garden and entertainment for the whole family…kids welcome. Admission is free, and food prices will be based on individual vendor pricing.

The Chili Cook-off will feature many competitors: Nooksack River Casino, Billy McHale’s, Christene and Anthony James, Kira’s Grill, Double Barrell BBQ, Sundance Beef Company, Famous Dave’s and more. All will be competing in five individual categories for over $2,000 in prizes.

Nooksack River Casino is teaming up with Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) for judging.

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to charities including the Deming Library and the House of Children.

Nooksack River Casino is located just 15 minutes east of Bellingham on the Mount Baker Highway.
