(NC)-One of the most popular dishes of Indian cuisine is Butter Chicken. This dish from the Punjab region is usually served with naan bread, roti, parathas or steamed rice. Making this dish at home is easier than one would think, thanks to new sauces, like VH Butter Chicken. Families will love the mild, rich and creamy flavour of this recipe. It is a simple way to introduce Indian inspired sauces to your dinnertime repertoire. Add a little taste of India to your everyday.
Butter Chicken
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
. 1 1/2 tbsp (20 ml) vegetable oil
. 1 lb (500 g) chicken, cut into 1" cubes
. 2 cups (500 ml) fresh or frozen thawed broccoli florets (optional)
. 1 jar (341 ml) VH Butter Chicken Sauce
Directions
1. Heat oil in large pan over med-high heat. Add chicken and sauté 10 min.
2. Add broccoli, cover and cook 10 min over low heat, until chicken is golden.
3. Add VH Butter Chicken Sauce, stir well and cook 5 min. Serve with rice or boiled potatoes.
Additional Tip:
For extra saucy Butter Chicken, use half the ingredients and a full jar of VH Butter Chicken Sauce
